To resign from your job, sell your house and leave for a new life abroad. How many people have not had this fantasy at any time?
We, Peter and Annemieke Kromhout, decided to fulfill this fantasy in 2009. After a three years’ intense search, we finally found our new home in Sur Yonne!
For us, Sur Yonne is the small-scale family business that we have been looking for and where we can employ the Mediterranean hospitality that suits us.
We both resigned from a good job and traded the hustle and bustle of our life in the Netherlands for the Mediterranean-style living in the French Morvan.
Words to describe ourselves and Sur Yonne: hospitality, quietness, space, hiking, motorcycle tours, wine, and last but not least ‘jeu de boules’.
